Am I suitable for Microblading

Cosmetic Tattooing Can be the best thing you have ever done but before we book you in please read thru and consider this information very carefully so we can get you the best results possible

Microblade/Feathering may not be for everyone please be mindful of this, you will not achieve  a heavy "instagram" brow from Microblading its a very Natural look, you will need Powder brow for more of a colored in brow look. Microblading will Not fix your brows if you have and extreme amount of hair on one side and a lot less on the other Microblading strokes can only be places so close together before they heal blurred and all together this you DO NOT want and you are better off  with  shading or a soft powder brow. Please understand that  Cosmetic tattooing is quiet delicate and does require a touch up session to fix any imperfections and strengthen the pigment load.

  SKIN CONDITIONS & TYPES

If you have suffer from eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis (i.e., your skin is consistently flaking, itching, or inflamed),it is not suitable for tattooing and will not hold pigment well.

If you have extremely oily skin you may not retain the color (powder brow is more suitable for your skin),

If your skin has large pores, specifically in  your T-Zone area, the colour will blur and result in a powdered look. Along similar lines, tattooed hair strokes will not lay properly on skin with deep wrinkles, which can make the overall look appear uneven. Moles, bumps, piercing, and generally raised skin around the eyebrows will also not be able to retain colour.

Sunburns-If you were wanting to get Microblading and have by chance gotten a sunburn, it’s best to wait until your skin has calmed down and has returned to its normal colour and it is best to let your skin heal before booking in for a procedure.

OTHER CONTRAINDICATIONS & MEDICAL CONDITIONS

Any anti wrinkle injections  (botox)should be done AFTER  your first 2 appointments are complete and healed properly

Please advise tattooist of all medications and vitamins.

IF you are currently taking Fish Oil tablets please stop them a week prior to your appointment

Including diabetes, (Dr note is required)

If you have Been thru Chemo or Radiation therapy. (Dr Note with written permission is required)

Pregnant and breast feeding women can not be tattooed if breast feeding please let us know

If you have Hemophila, or a heart condition it is not recommended at all for you to have Cosmetic Tattooing as you it puts you in a high risk position and  People who have heart issues often are on medications that thin the blood which will cause excessive bleeding and wich can lead to poor results with cosmetic tattooing.

It is also not  suitable if you are prone to keloid scarring.

People with Glaucoma, people who are taking blood-thinning medicines (e.g. aspirin), Cortisone, Steroids, Acutane , Roaccutane, Retin-A.

If you have been taking Roaccutane  or Retin-A you must of been off it for at least 1 year before being tattooed

If you suffer from any nervous or Anxiety  disorders please consider carefully if this is something for you as the process takes 4-6weeks weeks to  complete both appointments and can be an anxious wait as the treatment is not perfected until after healing of the touchup.

Trichotillomania (i.e., the compulsive pulling of body hair) causes the scar tissue in the eyebrow skin to be prominent, which does not allow the colour to heal properly.

People with skin diseases such as psoriasis, eczema, undiagnosed rashes and blisters and those with easily trigged post inflammatory hyper pigmentation are not good candidates. Also contraindicated are individuals who are attempting to cover or camouflage Telangestasia or birthmarks.

CAN YOU RETOUCH ANOTHER TATTOOISTS WORK?

I prefer to work on clean skin, this being said it is a case by case basis please understand that this sometimes more difficult for the tattooist than you might think often with old tattooing the pigment colors may have faded and left different base tones in the skin sometimes this requires color correction and we cant always guarantee the results also if you have been repeatedly microbladed over years and the work has spread under the skin it become harder for certain colors to be seen or to see the definition of microblading and you may need to go for a powder brow. It will require a consult and or CLEAR photos and you may be charged extra for the time to do color correction alternatively we may recommend you to see a someone who specialises in Removal.
